The 2024 Cedar Falls Rocket Club is made up of more than 20 outstanding young men and women (10th - 12th grade) who are dedicated to accomplishing amazing things in their pursuit of their NASA Student Launch Project as well as The American Rocketry Challenge!

Zeb started the Cedar Falls Rocket Club in 2014 with three students and a passion for all things rockets and space education. Since then he has taken the club to three TARC National Finals (one 5th place) as well as two trips to NASA Student Launch in Huntsville, Alabama. He is currently leading the club in their third NASA Student Launch project as well as two teams in the 2022 TARC competition.
Tyler Sorensen
Team Mentor
Tyler was one of the founding students of the Cedar Falls Rocket Club. He then held positions of Safety Officer and Vice President of Pioneer Rocketry during college at Univ. of Wisconsin - Platteville. He competed in dozens of competitions and has brought his knowledge and expertise back to Cedar Falls as the Team Mentor.
